Port Operations Staff III Position

The Port of Edmonds is accepting applications for a full-time Port Operations Staff III position. This position will serve as one of the three primary travelift operators for the Port of Edmonds workyard during the peak season. Responsibilities include hauling, pressure washing and blocking all types of vessels. Cleaning pressure wash pad and vault facilities, scheduling, ensuring proper charges are applied to services, and implementing best management practices within the work yard area. Responsibilities will also include collecting, processing and assisting customers with; payments, completion of paperwork, answering questions, booking appointments, launching, fueling, providing information and assistance with requests, and resolution of problems associated with marina operations. Position will also serve as a back-up fork lift operator for the dry storage program. High School graduation or GED and valid Driver’s license are required. Previous marina experience, working with the public, and operating marine related equipment including; work boats, forklifts, sling launch, generators, and vehicles is essential. Computer skills, ability to operate point of sale systems, ability to perform basic maintenance and repair tasks preferred. $18.26 – $18.81

A five-year driver’s abstract is required for this position and must be submitted with the application packet. Applications that do not have the required driver’s abstract attached, will not be considered. Driver’s abstracts are available through the Department of Licensing.
