The following information is a summary of the Property Owner Meetings that were held
in January and February 2007. The consultant, The Stratford Company, helped facilitate
these meetings for the property owners in achieving a better understanding of the
property being considered for redevelopment.
Topics being discussed included such items as: the Existing conditions of the property:
Constraints, Opportunities, and Needs of the property; the Mix of Uses, Linkages, and
Themes; Edge Conditions (i.e. what surrounds the property in question); Infrastructure
Issues; Parking, and Historical overview; Circulation Patterns, View Corridors, and
Impacts on Phasing.
Other topics of discussion included: What the property owners did NOT want the project
to look like; what were our goals, what might be our Vision Statement, and a review of
other redevelopment sites in the region and around the country.
