The Port of Edmonds currently excepting applications for a full time Port Operations Staff I position. This is an entry level position in our Marina Operations department with room for advancement when proficiency is achieved on operation of 10 ton dry storage forklift and 50 ton Travelift.
Responsibilities include: operation of Port equipment to include boat launcher, fuel dock point of sale, computers, Port vehicles, workboat, and pressure washer. Assisting with travelift operations and blocking of boats, cleaning pressure wash pad and vault facilities. Person will perform daily cleaning procedures in restrooms, offices and other public areas as necessary and be responsible for doing minor maintenance. Will also process and assist customers with payments, complete appropriate paperwork, answer questions, book appointments, provide information and assistance with requests. High School graduation or GED, and valid Drivers license are required. Previous marina experience, working with the public, and operating marine related equipment is desired. Basic computer skills, ability to operate point of sale systems, ability to perform basic maintenance and repair tasks preferred. $17.26 – 17.79 plus benefits including paid medical/dental, retirement, and deferred compensation program.
